The Company

The Good Land started as a realty and development company from a residential subdivision project in Ormoc City, Leyte on December 2002. The success of the initial endeavor led to the creation of The Good Land Realty & Development, Inc. due to the conception of other upcoming projects such as: middle and first class subdivisions, industrial park, memorial park, beach resort, and socialized housing projects.

Its vision to provide an efficient and honest-to-goodness one-stop shop for its diverse clientele led to the company’s growth and expansion of its services. Aside from its core business of development and marketing, it also caters to property management and other services such as property utilization, property acquisition, land registration, transfer of ownership, land survey, validation of documents & titles, and financial assistance.

Led by a dynamic team of principled achievers, The Good Land aims to be a top realty company providing for the real estate needs to a wide range of untapped local and foreign market. Through the internet, it will offer its services to overseas Filipinos and foreign investors whose investments could spearhead the economic development not only in Luzon, but also in the Visayas and Mindanao region of the Philippines as well.

Credentials

The Good Land is chaired by Realtor Nicolas “Nick” Pongos Jr., one of the top-notchers in the November 2006 broker’s licensing exam given by the Department of Trade and Industry in the Philippines, and a 2007 graduate of the De La Salle – Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Association (CREBA) Real Estate Management Course. He also finished all the lecture series of the Urban Institute of Real Estate and completed the Family Corporation Program of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He is currently a member of the Philippine Association of Real Estate Brokers (PAREB) belonging to the PAREB - Pasig Realtors Board, Inc.

The Symbol

The fig tree is a symbol of “prosperity and security”, ideals which The Good Land desires for its partners, suppliers, and clients. It is frequently mentioned in the Holy Scriptures where most of the company’s moral and ethical standards are based. Our company values honesty, fairness, and responsible stewardship in all our dealings. From the fig tree’s leaves were made the first covering of Adam and Eve - much as The Good Land would want to be the first permanent shelter for the thousands of Filipinos who need decent and comfortable housing. The fig tree represents the Promised Land for all people with “The Promise of a Good Life”.
